• REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

  1) Player/Team Official Registration

  Please complete fully with the home address of each player. If a player is attending university, please list parent’s address.

  2) Releases

  Releases are not required for graduating midgets, players who played Senior Hockey last season, or Junior aged players who were not on any January 10th lists last season. However, they are required for the following:

  - players with midget eligibility left.
  - Players from outside the province.
  - Players who were registered with any Junior club last season or the current season.

  3) Registration Cards

  Each club receives forty-five (45) registration cards in total, of which only twenty-five (25) can be carded at only one time until December 1. At that time, all teams must reduce their players list and unused players cards to twenty-five (25) at least two (2) of whom must be goalkeepers. On January 10th, all teams must further reduce their players list and unused players cards to twenty-three (23). If twenty-three (23) players are listed, at least two (2) must be goalkeepers.

  These lists must be faxed to the SHA Office by midnight December 1st and January 10th.

  4) Affiliations

  A team may have affiliated with it, one team or 19 players, from a lower division, age classification or category of hockey. At all times a player may only be affiliated with one team.

  After an affiliate is added, a screed will pop up, which is the hard copy of the affiliation agreement your affiliate player is required to sign.

  Teams in Saskatoon may only affiliate with players/teams from Saskatoon. Tri-Town may affiliate with players from a 160 km radius of their communities. Tri-Town can also affiliate a maximum of three (3) players per city if a city falls within the 160 km radius.

  Affiliation lists must be sent to the SHA Office by December 15th with a final list submitted by January 10th. If no list is submitted by December 15th by a team, they will be ineligible to affiliate any players.

  Any affiliated player may play only ten (10) games all season as an affiliate. Once the team they are registered with has completed their season, they may play with their affiliated team for the remainder of the season. Junior B teams can affiliate only five (5) Midget ‘AAA’ players
